Best pizza on the island! Matt is such a great guy and a pleasure to talk to. The pizza is so delicious. It’s a great atmosphere and a really nice spot to take a break and eat a really nice slice.

I read about Matt and his achievements beforehand and felt I had to meet him and visit his enterprise. It was well worth the scenic drive to Bidwell on Manitoulin. The pizza was excellent(we ate there And took a couple with us) and we had a lovely visit with him.

​What an absolute gem! This roadside pizza stand offers a fantastic dining experience out in nature. The wood-fired pizzas are made fresh right before your eyes, and they are delicious. The owner, Matt, is a blast—super engaging and welcoming! We loved the rustic, unique seating made from repurposed wire spools. An inspiring spot run by an incredible person (who is a Special Olympics medalist, no less!). Highly recommend! We'll definitely be back next season.

Absolutely amazing wood-fired pizza in the middle of nowhere! We had heard of this amazing pizza place in our own backyard but had never been. It is absolutely worth the drive! The chef, Matt, makes the dough fresh daily and adds the toppings you want right in front of you. The cook time is only a few minutes and the smokey flavours are a great addition. Will certainly visit again!

Matt’s pizzas are the best pizzas you’ll find in all of Northern Ontario!!! The place is in the middle of nowhere and feels absolutely serene. We ordered two pizzas (cheese and pesto) and they were both cooked to perfection - just the perfect amount of sauce and cheese! Matt sure does know how to make his customers happy! Great service, Matt! Thank you and best wishes. I hope more people find this gem on Manitoulin Island.
